In this video I share my thoughts on this extremely popular rest camp, situated in the south-eastern tip of the Kruger National Park. • Satara is located in a great area for game viewing and it's also very family friendly, with a large swimming pool and jungle gym, as well as a big shop, restaurant and place to order fast food. I doesn't, however, have a nice view like some of the other camps, because the terrain here is very flat and it doesn't overlook a river. • The campsite, however, is extremely popular - especially the stands along the fence line, from where campers stand a chance of seeing elephants, buffalo and other large game.
