Quick demo of React CarPlay running on the Audi RNS-E • This setup uses: • Raspberry Pi 3B+ running Buster OS and a Waveshare RS485 CAN HAT to enable control from the RNS-E • React CarPlay 4.0.1 (https://github.com/rhysmorgan134/reac...) with some code tweaks to allow control over canbus • iPhone 6s connected to a Carlinkit CPC200-CCPA wired / wireless CarPlay dongle • HDMI to VGA adapter to get RGBs video from the Pi to the RNS-E (with a hand made sync combiner) • RNS-E 193 (also works with 192) using PCBBC's updated firmware to unlock the TV input and video in motion (https://rnse.pcbbc.co.uk/)
