In this video I follow nesting Spotted Flycatchers feeding their chicks over a period of eight days watching them grow and fledge. Watch the flycatcher chicks growing up day by day at a remarkable rate and make the parent birds work hard in catching insects to feed them. Spotted Flycatcher, Muscicapa striata, is a small songbird found in Europe and parts of Asia but becoming an increasingly scarce sight in British birding, making watching them nesting a special experience.
