BC Ambulance Critical Care Paramedics from Vancouver and HeliJet Pilots landing on the Comox Valley Hospital's helipad to pick up a critically ill patient for a transfer to a larger hospital in Victoria or Vancouver. The helipad only functions when weather, lighting, and air density are optimal.
