I predict that in the coming years, Ardisia will be making a comeback in the houseplant market. I find them to be very non-complaining, easy-to-grow plants for the indoors. Some Ardisia leaves are unremarkable—and actually—my first Ardisia I got as a unnamed trade in one of my first Plant Swaps, and it took a year to figure out what it was. When it flowered, I totally got what it was. Anyway, there are plenty of Ardisia with great leaves.
