We are starting a new series today on HOW TO BUILD a CENTER CONSOLE for my truck. I'll walk you through my DIY process for building a better CUSTOM CENTER CONSOLE for my OVERLANDING FZJ80 rig. In this series, we are making this upgraded CENTER CONSOLE for two reasons. First, we will be installing a REDARC Power Management System so we need to make room for those components. Second, the factory FZJ80 CENTER CONSOLE is, frankly, outdated and lacking in modern features. So, in this episode, we will be PROTOTYPING a new, modern, CUSTOM CENTER CONSOLE and showing you how I approach it. • And, yes, we are going to nerd out a little and talk about 3D MODELING and working with readily available software and tools.
