Abbie's nightime routine isn't all that different from everybody else s except she is learning life skills during hers. • It would be so much easier in the moment to just do everything for my daughter that she struggles with but it will be harder for her and for us later on in life. We use these daily living experiences to teach her the life skills she needs to grow and thrive. Not every night looks like this. Sometimes she just falls asleep wherever she's at and we get her to her room doing our best not to wake her up too much.
