Terry Crews thinks it's time for men to stand up and speak out against human trafficking. The Brooklyn Nine-Nine actor stepped out on Tuesday night to celebrate the 18th Annual From Slavery to Freedom Gala in Los Angeles. Terry Crews attended the star-studded event with his buff friends Dolph Lundgren and Randy Couture from The Expendables 3 cast, as well as Michael Jai White. • What better way to do this than come out, especially guys to come out, and show their support for the end of this, he explained. A lot of people think this is happening in Europe, Africa, or in Mexico, but it's happening right here in Los Angeles, in the United States. Terry Crews was not only passionate about ending human trafficking, but he was happy to see that he and his friends were using their voice to raise awareness on the issue. It's time that men stand up and say, 'Hey, we need to put a stop to this,' he said. • When speaking about America's problem with human trafficking Terry Crews said, Men, we gotta stand up. We can't just look the other way. He added, If you don't speak on these things, you're almost giving consent to them. Terry Crews urged men to be part of the conversation and show their support. My thing is to always stand up, he explained. A real man, speaks up for the weak, they speak up for people who can't speak up for themselves, and that's the essence of being a strong man or woman. • When Terry Crews isn't raising awareness to end human trafficking, he's hilariously fighting crime on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, which airs on Fox. The actor will be starring as a washed up wrestler who tries to make a comeback in the film Aztec Warrior, which is set to release later in 2016.
