Today, we will be making some ethyl acetate by means of a classic esterification reaction.The final product turned out to be contaminated with significant amounts of ethanol, and so we will try to purify the product obtained in a future video. • Additional notes: • -The raman spectra were taken with a professional 785 nm raman equipment, since the power supply of my DIY raman spectrometer is not working right now. • -Software employed for the analysis of the raman spectra: Spectragryph (https://www.effemm2.de/spectragryph/). • This is my first video narrated with my real voice, let me know in the comments section whether you prefer this voice or the synthetic one.
