The film seems to think that the quote is from Marx’s Capital and even uses it as a tool to highlight oppenheimer’s big giga brain (because he's so smart he read capital in its original german text). The problem of course is that Marx never said “property is theft”. It was Proudhon who said so… More bafflingly, Marx even criticised the quote: • “The upshot is at best that the bourgeois legal conceptions of “theft” apply equally well to the “honest” gains of the bourgeois himself.
