Understanding the concept of lead when shooting a shotgun can be difficult to grasp. In this film we slow the action down. It allows the viewer to see the shot being thrown out in front of a fast moving woodpigeon. The bird then flies through the cloud of pellets. Often the shot can fall behind the quarry because the shooter doesn't allow for the speed of the bird . Equivalent loss of £125/ha for Oil Seed Rape, £250/ha for peas, £350-£1250/ha for brassicas) to agricultural crops every year including cereals, brassicas, oilseed rape, peas and salad crops.
