Automatic Aerial Archery Target Launcher DIY

Hey guys in this week's video we're going to take a look at a DIY automatic, self feeding aerial archery target launcher for foam archery targets! Shooting flu flu arrows at aerial targets, aka bow birds, is a ton of fun but having someone to throw the targets isn't always an option. With a little ingenuity and a welder you can fabricate an automatic launcher like the one shown here. What better way to have fun with a bow and arrow! • This kind of target launcher is available on line but can cost several thousand dollars. This home made machine cost me about $50 using junk yard parts and scrap metal. • I used a windshield wiper motor to power the spring loaded launcher. Some bicycle sprockets and chain for the loading mechanism, and an old basketball backboard for the main body of the machine. • One thing I'd like to figure out is a remote control for this thing.
