Real life review of the DH-SD59230S-HN 30X PTZ Camera. • The web interface that you see me using to control the camera is built into the camera it's self, and you can connect to it with IE Explorer, Firefox, or Chrome browsers. For remote viewing of the camera using my Android phone or tablet, I use a program called IP Cam Viewer Pro by Robert Chou. It's a $3 app that works very nicely for remote viewing and PTZ control. Just choose the Dahua Camera RTSP model in the app and choose port 8080. • This camera has wires that you can hook up a mic and a speaker so you can do two way comms through the camera app. I used this microphone http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002... • And I used this speaker http://www.bestbuy.com/site/rocketfis... • This camera also has two separate inputs for sensors and you can set in software what actions the camera takes when these alarm inputs are activated. I have a motion sensor out at my gate that if activated, the camera zooms out to the gate and records video. After 30 seconds of filming close up on the gate, it then does a scan of the entire property. • The second alarm sensor I use is just a magnetic switch on my door. When that sensor activates, the camera zooms into my front door area, records video for 30 seconds, and then does a scan of the entire property. • If motion is detected by the camera, or by either of my two alarm sensors, it also sends out an email alert me to.
