In my opinion, this mod is an absolute no brainer for anyone with a Toyota 4.7l V8. That includes 4Runners, Tundras, and GX470s. As many people are finding out, the SAIS (Secondary Air Injection System) can fail and be a very costly repair. In light of this, many kits have been developed to help bypass this system so you aren’t left with a faulty pump or stuck valves. Due to my installation being preventative, I did not have to install block plates, rather just a simple relay bypass. I got my kit from SLYFOX on T4R.org.
