Our irrigation system was installed more than 20 years ago during the previous two owner's period. Based on the layout of the indexes, the irrigation system rotates through each index in a counter-clockwise direction; our irrigation system indexing valve is a K-Rain Hydrotek 4000 series. I removed the screws from both the stem and cam [a three zone cam (Part #6107043) for four outlet valve] then by using the water pressure both parts easily loosened from the four outlet valve body. Cleaned all the parts [plastic] with 303 Aerospace Protectant and reassembled the Hydrotek Series 4000 Indexing Valve
