Miguel Mattox won the age-group race at Ironman 70.3 Florida, was 15th overall male + 3rd overall US athlete, and earned his pro card and a spot at Ironman 70.3 World Championships in St. George, Utah. Jenna had a different kind of day on the course. • Last weekend, we raced at Ironman 70.3 FL in Haines City. It was hot, humid, and at times, downright horrible. Follow along for an action-packed weekend filled with COVID-safe travel, race prep, and suboptimal racing conditions for two Northern Californian triathletes with very different race outcomes.
