I get suggestions from people asking me to draw their original characters. Unfortunately it wouldn't feel fair picking someone's original character but not another's. So I have devised a plan to do this in the most funnest way possible! In a Contest! • All ages are eligible and all walks of this crazy artistic journey, so if you love waffles and art and have a hanker for creating uniquely designed characters, this contest is for you! There are two ways to win! So what are you waiting for! • • OFFICIAL RULES • ------------------------------------------ • ___________ • How to Enter: • Draw a picture of an original character, either digitally or traditionally, with their own outfit, color scheme, and personality. (No Fan-Art) • Like DrawingWiffWaffles on Facebook. • Post your drawing on the DrawingWiffWaffles' Facebook page along with the following in the description of the image: • The name of the Character; • (optional)The Character's Strongest Personality Trait; • (optional) a little back story; • You're Username on YouTube if separate from your Facebook name. (can include URL if you want people to check out your Art YouTube channel) • _________ • Eligibility: • To be eligible to win, contestants: • Must have liked DrawingWiffWaffles on Facebook. (Being subscribed to DrawingWiffWaffles on Youtube is not required but is suggestion if you want to find out whether you won or not and I feel if you like me you would show that in a subscription lol) • Must enter an illustration created by the entrant of an original character created from the entrant's imagination. • The Entry must not have been traced. (I may not be able to notice 100% of tracings but if I do notice you will be disqualified.) • Every entrant is allowed to enter with 2 separate original characters, but is not allowed to enter the same Original character more then one time. • Must be fair and encouraging to other entrants. • By this I mean if you post on someone else's entry that they are not good at art or anything else demeaning you may be disqualified if I find out. When it comes to art, inspiration and encouragement is all you need to be great. • _________ • Prizes: • 2 chances to win their original character drawn by DrawingWiffWaffles • 1 chance to win their original character being illustrated in a process video on DrawingWiffWaffles' YouTube channel. • _________________ • Three Ways to Win! • The Entrant with the most Facebook likes on their drawing of their original character with receive: (1)Their original character drawn by me in full resolution for if they want to get it printed as well as a copy with transparent background for the winners own personal use, as well as (2)the process video of their illustration uploaded to YouTube and narrated by me! • The second winner will be selected by me based on creativity, use of color, and basically my favorite overall design. This will not be judged by artistic skill but creativity and coherence within the character design. They will receive: Their original character drawn by me in full resolution for if they want to get it printed as well as a copy with transparent background for the winners own personal use • _____________ • Contest Period • All entries must be submitted by May 16th, 2014 5pm EST. • Winners will be determined on May 16th, 2014 following the closing of the contest period. • Winners will be announced in the process video of the Facebook Likes winner's original character being drawn.
