Return the bad battery, and they'll refund the $10.00 core charge. • They told me they are not allowed to install Prius batteries. It makes sense, since you have to open the hatchback, remove the carpet and a bunch of panels, and it then just takes time to remove the old battery and install the new one. Watch your back, as you have to bend a bit to do this! O'Reilly lent me the tools I needed to install the battery (rachet wrench, some extension bits, and a 10 MM rachet bit).
