In this video, we are going to setup WiFi bridge to extend the LAN network wirelessly on OpenWRT LuCI with relayd package. This is also know as Wi-Fi extender / repeater / bridge configuration. As a result, you will have another extended network via WiFi that has the same LAN IP range/subnet with the primary router. • We only need relayd (core) package and luci-proto-relay to configure the Relay Bridge via LuCI Web Interface. • Please take note that the primary and the extened router should has a different LAN IP before the configuration. The DHCP server of the 2nd/extened network should be disabled so that all request will be routed to the primary router. • If your hardware supports 802.11s, you can check out my tutorial for OpenWRT Mesh WiFi configuration for the best performance. • If you want the extended network having a different LAN IP range/subnet, you can also check out the video OpenWRT AP Client tutorial. • Video timeframe: • 00:00 - OpenWRT WiFi bridge with Relayd - Network topology overview • 01:21 - Install relayd and luci-proto-relay package • 03:21 - Wireless configuration - Connect to the Access Point • 04:50 - Note for the Raspberry Pi 4 users • 05:12 - LAN IP Turn off the DHCP server for the extended LAN • 07:15 - Create and Configure the Relay bridge interface • 09:28 - Check Speedtest • 11:40 - How to connect to the 2nd router LuCI page • Resources: • OpenWRT Relay configuration - https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/n... • OpenWRT Mesh WiFi configuration -    • OpenWRT - 802.11s Mesh WiFi Network   • OpenWRT AP Client configuration -    • OpenWRT - AP Client /Wireless Client ...   • OpenWRT tutorials playlist -    • OpenWRT Tutorial   • Thanks for watching and see you in the next video!
