Her friend, Deirdre Quirk, says these videos were taken today straight from my BFF Heidi Murphy who is saving animals in NC. Hard to watch if you know horses realize this horse is so tired, she’s giving up. The porch they swam her to is the highest ground for miles. They aren’t safe. The water is forecasted to rise another 2 ft. No help from the air because they are still air evacuating people. Heidi says dogs are clinging to logs, kittens stuck in trees... no roads above water .
