This video is about Do It Yourself: Sharpening your Tweezers • I am often asked Can you sharpen your own dull tweezers? • Yep, the same tools that you use to make jewelry are the same tools that can instantly revive a pair of dull tweezers. • Tweezers are something you only need to buy rarely. With a small amount of maintenance, you can keep them sharp for years. • Sometimes you may need to make minor adjustments or repairs to your tweezers. This video also talks about repairing and reshaping your tweezers. • You don't have to replace your dull tweezers. These tips work on expensive tweezers that have gotten dull and makes cheap tweezers as sharp as their more expensive counterparts. • Use a nail file or fine grade sandpaper. Rub the tweezers up and down the file or sandpaper a few times. You can also sharpen the point, as I have shown in the second picture. • As a jeweler, you've probably purchased tweezers more than once.
