With a broken drawbar on the trailer, mouldy silage and a bad start to the lambing we check in with Alan as he feeds the cows and tries to get ready before the sheep properly kick off. The marshall trailer may be retired if he can pinch Johns Redrock or would he ever consider all round bales for silage. • Where there is livestock there is dead stock and the first lambing session did not go well. There's also an extra pair of hands to help with the farm work today getting pens set up and feeding which can make all the difference in busy times.
