The 2024 Thirlmere Festival of Steam , an annual event in the town of Thirlmere, south of Sydney and centred on the NSW Rail Transport Museum and their active exhibits. • Day 1 - Action at and around Thirlmere station. Two trains were in operation: The Buxton shuttle with steam locomotives 3265 3001 topping tailing the passenger cars.
