Dorice ‘Dee Dee’ Moore was found guilty of first-degree murder in the killing of lottery winner Abraham Shakespeare in central Florida. The judge sentenced her to mandatory life without parole and an additional 25 years for using a gun during the felony. • Dorice 'Dee Dee' Moore befriended Shakespeare, claiming to be writing a book about him, before becoming his financial adviser and taking control of all his assets. She then swindled him out of his money and ultimately shot and buried him in her backyard. • The jury found Moore guilty after deliberating for over three hours. Moore's attorney argued that there were other potential suspects, but the police only focused on Moore. • The judge called Moore cold, calculating and cruel, describing her as the most manipulative person he had ever seen.
