Pairing Apple Bluetooth Keyboard with Windows PC

In this video, we offer a tried and true method of pairing the Apple Bluetooth Keyboard (A1314) with a Windows laptop PC (HP ENVY x360 Convertible 13-y0XX). • Unlike our usual, carefree experience in pairing a peripheral with a host device, pairing the Apple Bluetooth Keyboard (A1314) can be problematic and frustrating at times. To make matters worse, the keyboard tends to lose connection with the laptop quite frequently, although the keyboard does its job well when it's working. Since we took heed of the somewhat 'unexpected' behavior in the pairing of the keyboard with the laptop, we have learned some tricks that seem to work for us. The keyboard is usually listed under the subtitle Mouse, keyboard, pen , but it can sometimes be buried further down the list. • If you tried everything as shown in the video and in these notes, but still cannot get the keyboard to work, then you may want to reboot your laptop and try again—That seems to have done the trick for us in some odd cases.
