Starts off cleaning the surfaces of the steel(15n20,1095 and 80crv2). Then he MIG welds the pieces together and moves on to forge welding on the nazel 2b power hammer. Then he rounds over the billet using the flat dies and a special saddle die to round over even more. Then the billet is turned on it's side and flattened to create the first step of the modified crushed w's. That billet is then cut in four pieces, restacked and forge welded and rounded over again. This creates 1/4 of our star.
