The synthesizer produces a feeling of a trance state. Creating this sound I found myself in a dream with visions of the past. Reminding me of the prophet Wovoka. So I named it Ghost Dance. The Idea for the Ghost Dance came to the profit Wovoka in a Dream. He brought tribes together to organize against the onslaught of the settlers in the 1800's. He was seen to preform miracles and talked about raising of the dead to help in the fight against the settlers. • Wovoka's prophetic message referenced a number of Christian theological concepts. In the Messiah Letters , Wovoka spoke of Jesus Christ's life on Earth and likened the foretold redemption of Native Americans to a biblical Judgement Day.[9] Wovoka made references to the reunion of the living and the dead, and also advocated for non-violence in the Christian spirit of pacifism and fair temperament.
