CAUGHT IN A THUNDERSTORM WILD EMTB RIDE AT BARRY SIDINGS

What a wild Sunday of riding at Barry Sidings, South Wales! The day started out dry and dusty but we got caught in a big thunderstorm. This place isn't best suited to beginners but if you are a fairly competent mountain bike rider it has some fantastic trails to offer. It's situated in Pontypridd, South Wales, not far from the A470, and even has it's own café (which do really good burgers). The trails have a great variety of rooty, rocky and slippery trails and some of them get very steep! • We had a great day and nobody got hurt, but there were a few near misses!
