This is a quick demo of me recording finger-style acoustic guitar with my Neumann U87. Vintage U87's have about 10dB less output and 3-4 dB higher self noise than the current U87Ai, so I wanted to see how my U87 handles quieter sources. • Signal chain: Neumann U87/Neve 88RLB Preamp/UAD Apollo x8p.
