Part 2: • Fender Stratocaster - EC Mid Boost/TB... • Hi there. • Here is part one of a two part video demo of a Mexican Stratocaster fitted with a set of Fender Vintage Noiseless pickups, mid boost circuit and TBX tone control. • Although the pickups are noiseless magnetically - kind of stacked humbuckers - and the guitar electrics were fully shielded with copper foil there was still considerable amount of electrical noise being picked up through the front of pickups via the non grounded magnets and non-shielded plastic pickup covers. • So to get the quietest operation, in addition to the shielding done by Adam Fawcett of Maxx Music - great job Adam! Some additional work of grounding all the pickup magnets was necessary.
