A few months ago, selecting a guitar top based on its acoustic properties was hard to imagine. However, as you may already know, thanks to the revolutionary TPC software from @iuliusguitars, we have succeeded in measuring five key acoustic values when choosing a guitar top. • Following the success of our sound-analysed MB Sound top, we have decided to take a step forward and embark on a new challenge: measuring the acoustic properties of our MB Exclusive backs and sides. These pieces, just like the top, belong to the soundboard, and it is important to know their acoustic values when selecting the wood to build a guitar. • over the last few weeks, we have measured the five fundamental sound values on over 60 AAA Indian Rosewood, Master Malaysian Blackwood, and MB Exclusive American Walnut backs.
