2014 Ninja 300 ABS SE. Completely stock. • First time out on the streets after just getting my M1 license. Lots of little mistakes, but at least I didn't drop the bike! With more seat time, hopefully the feeling will become more natural. • Used GoPro HD Hero 2 with suction cup mount. The mount was attached just in front of the gas tank lid, but was bouncing up and down the entire ride. I liked the view and the sound was pretty decent with the built-in microphone, but I'll have to find a different mount point so it's not so shaky. • Interesting bits: • 6:38 - Cop that was following me for a few blocks passes me. Gave me a look as he passed, hah. • 13:20 - Scooter smokes me from a light. • 16:58 - Accidentally tapped my horn when trying to signal when pulling over. Scared the older lady waiting at the corner. She was watching me from the corner for a while before deciding I probably wouldn't run her over. • 54:13 - Probably shouldn't have pulled the U-turn in front of the car. • 1:06:55 - Tried to do a little pull, but accidentally shifted down instead of up. • Other times - Lots of forgetting to turn off turn signal, shifting up from 1st into neutral instead of 2nd, wobbly starts, engine braking and braking too early before stops.
