【ワカコ酒】ウニクレソンの作り方 Buttery Uni Cresson from Wakako Zake Anime Recipes in Real Life

We recently watched both the anime and live action version of Wakako Zake (ワカコ酒). The food looked so delicious, it left us craving their dishes. • The 1st recipe we tried was Uni Cresson ウニクレソン. It's basically sea urchin with watercress. And it's based on a dish from a restaurant called Naka-chan 中ちゃん, located in Hiroshima, Japan. • The dish turned out great, the uni was buttery, briney, and complemented the watercress really well. • INGREDIENTS: • uni ~100 grams • watercress - 1 bunch • salt - pinch • lemon - slice • butter - a tablespoon (up to you / personal preference) • baguette or bread - 6+ slices • soy sauce - 1-3 tsp (depends on how salty you want it) • DIRECTIONS: • 1. Chop the watercress in half or more, if you want bite-sized pieces • 2. Soak the watercress in water • 3. Cut the bread, and toast • In the meantime: • 4. Wash the watercress several times, soaking in between (There can be lots of bugs) • 5. Heat up a pan with butter • 6. Add the watercress and sauté for a couple minutes until wilted • 7. Sprinkle salt • 8. Add the uni and soy sauce • 9. Break up the uni and stir until it looks a little saucy (~1 minute) • 10. Plate and serve with a slice of lemon and buttered bread • Please enjoy our couple's cooking and food vlog!
