Today we have a British classic bake. It is the classic scone recipe! This is an easy and quick scone recipe which you can make at home. Unlike other types tea cakes traditionally enjoyed in the United Kingdom, scones rely on baking powder instead of yeast to rise. This means it is easy and quick to make.
