(100% of all tips goes towards creating new videos!) • Date of Travel: 23 September 2019 • Class of Travel: Superliner Roomette (First Class) • Cost of Ticket: $457 • Other info: • As I mentioned last week, the only way to choose whether your roomette is on the upper or lower level of your car is to ring Amtrak and have them change it for you. As I live in the UK, the cost of making a call to Amtrak to have them change my roomette, would have been far higher than I would have been willing to pay just for the sake of a slightly better view! • I should also mention that this runs daily both northbound and southbound (including Sundays!) • I forgot to say in the video that we actually arrived into Seattle about 20 minutes earlier than the scheduled arrival time of 7:56pm which is unusual for Amtrak (in my experience, they usually run an hour or two late on long distance routes!)
