2013 Ford F150 Ignition Switch Replacement

Been chasing electrical issues in my truck for a few years now. Seemed to be the stupid battery monitoring system so i took care of that with forscan. Upon the issue popping up again I used forscan to check for trouble codes and came up with b10f1-14 Additional Fault Symptom: Circuit Short To Ground or Open. Module: Body Control Module I hadnt been able to find much except people saying its the lock cylinder. • Come to find out that similar year ford escapes have an issue with the actual ignition switch, where on days when the cab gets to hot, it causes a no start issue. So after reading that plus the short to ground, i decided to tackles the cheaper issue first. Lets see what happens as the warmer California months approach. Will be fixing the lock cylinder soon as well. • **UPDATE** • So far this fix has worked! No more glitchy cluster, door chime is solid always, and havent had any battery drain issues. Will it last?
