So, without any more delay, here is how you can make an RLCraft Minecraft server! • The first step of making a #RLCraft server is downloading the RLCraft server files. You can find the link to download these files in the description above. Once you are there, click on the ‘files’ tab and click on the most recent file that has been uploaded. Then, scroll down the page a bit. You will see an ‘Additional Files’ section. Under this section, you’ll see ‘RLCraft Server Pack’. Click the purple ‘download’ button on this file. This will download the server files. • You aren’t done downloading just yet! You still need to download Forge 1.12.2 for RLCraft. To do this, click the Forge link in the description above. This will take you to our website where you can click the green ‘download Forge’ button. You will then be taken to Forge’s website where you want to click the 1.12.2 version on the right-hand sidebar. Then, click the ‘Download Installer’ button under latest release. You will need to save/keep the file. • Now, you need to extract your RLCraft server files. Once you do that, you can open up Forge, click ‘Install Server’ and click three dots to open up the folder selector. Select the extracted RLCraft folder, and click install. It is okay there are already files in the folder. Once that is done, open the folder, create a new text document, copy the code from above, past it in, and change the CHANGE NAME part to the name of the Forge .jar file in your server’s folder. Next, save this as run.bat. Make sure you change save file type to ‘all files’. • Once you do that, you can come back and double click the ‘run.bat’ file in your server folder. This will generate a eula.txt file. Open that, and change it to ‘eula=true’. Then, double click the run.bat file again. This will start your server right on up. Now, you aren’t done just yet. You still need to port forward port 25565 on the UDP and TCP protocols. Once you do that, get your public IP address, give that to your friends, and as long as they are playing the RLCraft modpack before they join, they’ll be able to join your server! • And there you have it! That is how you can make an RLCraft server in order to play RLCraft with your friends.
