With a small shovel collect soil samples from your lawn. Ideally take 3 samples from different parts of your lawn. • 2. Mix the soils together until homogenous. • 3. Remove the green capsule from the test tube. • 4. Spoon a small amount of your soil mixture into the test tube • 5. Break the green capsule open and pour it into the test tube. • 6. Pour bottled or rain water into the test tube. DO NOT USE TAP WATER, as it is pH adjusted and will affect the outcome of your test. • 7. shake the solution well and let the sediment settle to the bottom. • 8.
