This video, from OS College, demonstrates how Balena Etcher flashes an operating system to an external drive from the operating system file's URL, or Web address. Etcher is an application that flashes operating system files to USB sticks and other external drives, so you can boot a computer with one of these drives. Linux operating systems are usually tried and installed by using a bootable external drive. • Etcher is a cross-platform application, so it works equally well on Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems. Its user interface is the same across all systems. • Here are links to the OS College Website, Etcher Website, and Websites of applications and operating systems discussed in this video or used to make this video. • https://www.oscollege.com • https://etcher.balena.io/ • Operating systems • https://ubuntu.com/ • https://www.linuxmint.com/ • https://zorin.com/os/ • https://manjaro.org/ • https://fedoraproject.org/ • https://peppermintos.com/ • https://lxle.net/ • https://www.bodhilinux.com/ • Applications used to make videos • Video • Camtasia: https://www.techsmith.com/video-edito... • Office suite • https://www.libreoffice.org/ • Web browsers that work on Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems: • Chrome: https://www.google.com/chrome/ • Firefox: https://www.mozilla.org • Microsoft Edge: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/ • Opera: https://www.opera.com/ • Brave: https://brave.com/
