Charts 8 displays NOTAM for over 7,000 airports across the globe. In this video we’ll show you how to display NOTAM in the Charts application. • The definition of NOTAM is Notice to Airmen , or Notice to Air Mission (FAA definition). It serves the purpose of informing those who are involved in flight operations about irregularities and any potential hazards and conditions that could impact the flight. The notices that go into NOTAM are not known far enough in advance to be publicized by other means.
