Despite the presence of a VIP line, the situation was chaotic, and the Pujari ji only accepted chadawa with a receipt. The crowd was so intense that it felt almost like a stampede, and we couldn’t get a proper darshan of Shree Banke Bihari. • Rang Ji Temple: In contrast, this temple was not crowded, allowing us to have a peaceful and comfortable darshan of Shree Krishna. It was a refreshing change from the chaos at Banke Bihari Mandir. • Nidhivan Temple: • History: Nidhivan, meaning “Forest of Tulsi,” is one of the most sacred sites in Vrindavan. It is believed to be the place where Radha and Krishna perform their divine Raslila dance every night. The forest is filled with Tulsi plants, which are said to transform into gopis at night. Due to its sanctity, Nidhivan is closed to the public after evening aarti, and no one is allowed to stay inside overnight12. • Experience: Although Nidhivan was also crowded, it was better managed compared to Banke Bihari Mandir.
