D3: Unhallowed Essence Set Dungeon Guide | Patch 2.4 • This video is a guide on how to locate and successfully complete the Unhallowed Essence Dungeon in Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls Patch 2.4 Season 5. In this video the step-by-step commentary is strictly tied to the live action being shown and provides instructional and educational value. • Character: Demon Hunter • Unhallowed Essence Dungeon Location: Go to Act 2 and take the Howling Plateau waypoint. Once there travel south by southwest down the narrow pass. Continue south until you walk through the archway, the dungeon is in the southeastern part of this area. Approach the dungeon portal wearing a full six-piece Unhallowed Essence set. • Primary Objectives: • 1) Hit 20 enemies with a single Multishot 6 times. • 2) Never drop below 50% discipline. • Time Limit: 4:30 • Guide: The second objective is relatively easy to accomplish. As long as you don't get carried away with Vault you should be fine. However, the first objective can be tricky. There are a limited number of enemies and they aren't necessarily together in groups of 20. Sometimes they have to be herded together so you can hit 20 of them with one shot. The enemies are also very weak and will most likely be killed with one shot from your hatred generator (Evasive Fire) or Multishot. Since the enemies are so weak, I recommend that you attempt this dungeon without your Follower and without the Companion skill equipped, this way you do not need to worry about them killing or scattering enemies. Also, even though this build usually uses Multishot with the Arsenal rune, I would choose one of the other runes because kills from Arsenal's rockets do not count towards the objective. I used the Arsenal rune successfully in the video but it would have probably been easier without it. • It'll probably take a few tries to successfully complete the dungeon but once you get the hang of the method it shouldn't be a problem.
