I was asked if I could explain what I take with me when I go to court to work (and also to my commission hearings, which is what I do more these days) so that a newer reporter can get an idea of what they should have in their bag. • Please pardon the camera work - we know that I pretty much go straight from the phone and no edits so there you have it... You'll be able to find them online at various places. Make sure you do have the USB extender available and that you do NOT get voice activated - you want to be in charge of recording, not waiting till it hears something. • Sound Cards: • I use both the single (recording only) and double (recording and listening) depending on my work setup.
