Mr. And Mrs. Garmash are considered two of the finest Romantic Impressionists of our day. • Michael is from Ukraine, and Inessa is from Russia. Being a gifted artist from childhood, Michael Garmash won his first International award (1978) before he even graduated from Lugansk State Fine Art College (1987). Mr. Garmash had exhibitions in Czechoslovakia, Hungary, France, and Russia. Inessa Garmash (Kitaichik) haș excelled in the arts since early childhood. Inessa graduated from music and ballet school, and then entered the Lugansk Fine Art School. They used to paint independently, but once an accident happened. Their two-year old daughter Polina, left unattended just for a moment, decided to “improve” her father’s painting. Inessa had to save the painting before Michael saw it and got upset. She fixed it, but of course she used her own technique. The painting was made for an exhibition, and it had a huge success there. • When Michael saw it, he right away recognized his wife style and appreciated what she did.
