Until recently I only thought that loft trick for Troupe Stages only worked for furnishings on horizontal flat surfaces. • I was surprised the loft trick (Display Subcommand ~ Place) also works for wall-mounted and tabletop items on, seems like, any surface. • So here are some other uses of the loft trick: • 1. Attach Imitation Oblong Windows or any wall-mounted items that normally will not attach to partitions (00:48) • 2. Attach tabletop items to partitions, natural walls (01:44) • 3. Attach wall-mounted and tabletop items on pillars, ceilings, railings of stairs • 4. Place furnishings and tables on stairs (03:02) • 5. Attach wall-mounted items on the side of a Troupe Stage (03:48) • 6. Place outdoor furnishings on the fence (04:52) • Notes: • #1 is a nice QoL change imo when floating these windows. Before I had to first attach the window to natural wall, then place a partition close to the wall, etc. Perfect time to discover it with the new Doman Window, Fool's Threshold. • #2 can serve as an alternative for floating tabletops without needing a Riviera Wall Shelf. Unfortunately the item does not get attached to the partition(02:30), so you gotta get placement right the first time • #4 is maybe just a variation of the storageroom trick, but much easier since you can still move the item vs using camera angle to place the item • #5 should work with tabletop items also. And it should work for any other furnishing that would act as a surface. Not like the Glade Wardrobe I used which the window just clipped thru(00:52). • The final clip is just to troll and kinda lock your guests inside. Maybe prompting them to use teleport just to get out. :P
