While we are experiencing freezing 🥶 temperatures, I am turning indoors to focus on stocking my PANTRY. • Today, I am making a must have staple for everyone’s pantry: • Black pepper gravy mix 🍳🥓🥐 • 5 cups all-purpose flour • 1/2 cup corn starch • 1/4 c ground black pepper • 2 cups powdered milk • 1T salt • Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. • Place in an airtight container with a lid . Store in a cool dry place. • Directions… • You will need 1 1/2 cups of milk , • Add 1-2 T bacon 🥓 drippings to a warm skillet, med heat, when Melted add 3-4 heaping Tablespoons of Black pepper gravy mix. Whisking continuously. After bacon 🥓 drippings and All Purpose flour are whisked together • add 1 1/12 cups of milk to skillet. Continue to whisk milk Into gravy mixture on med or low heat.
