How to Download and Install Lacerte Tax Software? • This step-by-step comprehensive tutorial as a set of easy-to-follow steps will make your Lacerte installation the easiest thing to do in your life. • If you’re one of those who are concerned if something could go wrong with your computer or something could interfere with other applications residing on your computer, and hesitate to start the process of installation, then this is the perfect video for you. • It will take merely a couple of minutes to complete the whole process. • In this video, It’s tried to make the process of Lacerte installation the easiest, so that you can easily understand it. You won’t have to watch any other video tutorial or read another guide later for the same reason once you watch this one. • I have broken down the process into very simple steps. By following these easy-to-follow steps, you are going to be an expert. • Please note that if you have an account with “intuit”, you can sign in and request a link for download. Else, you can request for a trial. Since this is a video tutorial just for demonstration purposes, I’ll request for a trial. OK! • • So, let’s begin with the installation part. • • 1. Once you have requested for a trial, you will get the download link as you can see in the video • 2. Click on the link “Download Now” and it will start downloading. • 3. A window will appear. Then click on ‘Save’ (it will save an image of the application on your computer as it naturally happens with any other installation) • 4. Wait for some time to allow the application to download (depending on your internet speed) • 5. Once downloaded, go to your “Downloads” folder and search for the application. • 6. Select the application and right click, and then click “Run as administrator” • 7. Now, you will have to extract the file (The default location for the download will be the ‘C’ drive on your computer. So I will choose ‘C’; however, you can choose any location of your choice) • 8. In the ‘C’ drive, I will create a new folder and name it ‘Lacerte New’. You can do what you like. • 9. Now click ‘OK’ • 10. Click on ‘Extract’ • 11. Once the download is complete, go inside the folder and select “Setup file” and then right click, and click “Run as administrator” • 12. Click on ‘Next’ (you can see the location workstation or file share path) And please also note that, for installing the application, you will need at least 1.67 Gb of empty space on your computer. • 13. Click on ‘Install’ and wait for some time to allow the installation to finish (depending on your internet speed) • 14. And once the installation finishes, for the smooth running of the system, just reboot (shut down and restart) your computer. • 15.
