http://www.ammaunavagam.com • Very soon, the city residents would taste the Re. 1 idli, Rs. 3 sambar and Rs. 5 curd rice as the Corporation has identified 15 places for establishing the budget canteens, After the success of 'Amma Unavagam' in Chennai, the Chief Minister had announced that all the Corporations would have such canteens. Hence, a team of officials from the Corporation recently visited the canteens in Chennai to study about its functioning, the ingredients used and preparation methods and the quality of food served besides management of such canteens.
