Half-press operates the switch without producing a click. With this control, the light will not stay on when the switch is released. A full-press produces a click. With this control, the light will stay on when the switch is released. • Half press switch activation has three functions: to control momentary on, to cycle through each mode within a program, or to activate a program. Each program requires a select number of half presses resulting in confirmation flashes. Full press switch activation is used to turn the light on/off or to control constant on for a selected mode. • The Pelican 8060 LED has five modes and four program options. The Modes are Low, Medium, High, Strobe and Flashing. • The strobe mode produces rapid bursts of light, while the Flashing mode produces longer, temporary bursts that briefly illuminate the area. Program 4 is now ready to use. • The Pelican 8060 LED is shipped ready to use with program 1 (high, strobe, medium and low) set as the factory default. • Each of the four Program options offers a different mode sequence when activated. Program 1 offers high, strobe, medium and low modes. Program 2 offers the high mode only. Program 3 offers high, medium, low and flashing modes. And Program 4 offers low, medium, high and flashing modes. • In this example, we activate program 4. Half press the switch 14 times within a half second of each other and hold the last half press, then wait for 4 confirmation flashes.
