Setting Individual Ringtones and TextTones On Your iPhone

From http://billsklodowski.com - I was standing in the checkout line at my local grocery store the other day (yes, mask on, social distancing… All good!) when a phone rang, and me and two other people standing nearby all reached for pockets and purses to see if that was their phone ringing! Got me thinking… Maybe I want to put a new ringtone on my iPhone! • In this video, we’ll dig into the iPhone Settings page that allows us to change ringtones and text tones. (Those are the sounds the iPhone makes when a new text message arrives). • Along with those two, you can also change the sounds the iPhone (or iPad) makes when sending and receiving mail, getting a calendar event reminder, or even a regular Reminders “reminder.” • There are settings that can change ringtone and text tones “globally,” meaning the new ringtone will apply to ALL incoming calls. Yet you can also change ringtones and text tones for each individual contact on your iPhone. That’s super-handy for letting you know who’s calling (or texting) before you even pick up the phone and see the Called ID (if there is one). • Check out this latest video from our “What’s New Wednesday” series.
